Student Union organizes Academics Week

The AIT Student Union will organize the Academics Week from 3 to 6 April 2006. The event includes Inter-Country Quiz Competition at the following locations:

Preliminary Round (3 April) - SU Café, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Final Round - Milton E. Bender Auditorium, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The competition welcomes three members per team, each consisting of different nationalities.

Pacific Rim workshop calls for papers

Submissions of papers are welcomed to the Ninth Pacific Rim International Workshop on Multi-Agents, a series of workshops on autonomous agents and multi-agent systems, integrating the activities in Asia and Pacific Rim countries to be held in Guilin, China, from 7 to 8 August 2006.

PRIMA2006 will bring together Asian and Pacific Rim researchers and developers from academia and industry to report on the latest technical advances or domain applications and to discuss and explore scientific and practical problems as raised by the participants.

The Renewable Energy Research and Development Center, Water Foundation in Istanbul, Turkey, will organize the 'International Advanced Course on Renewable Energies: Resource assessment, Data processing, Feasibility studies, Interpretation, Policy, Management, Design and Applications' from 5 to 14 June 2006.

Applications are invited from engineers, scientists and specialists working in renewable energies related agencies and institutions all over the world.
