Task force to review staff terms of employment, compensation, career paths
A task force has been appointed to review present staff terms of employment, compensation and career paths. Effectively, this is a review of AIT's present approach to human resources.
The task force includes Dr. Sununta Siengthai, Dr. Shrinivas Rao, Ms. Kalchana Nettayawichit, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Dash, and Dr. Jon Shaw. Maybel Belonio-Diopenes is assisting the group, and in fact contributing as a full member.
The task force has agreed that in order to proceed, it is necessary to share the ongoing outcomes of its deliberations with the AIT community to ensure the broadest possible buy-in to what is being proposed.
The task force will use e-mail rather than Web boards. Responses to the postings can be made either to faculty and staff, or to any or all the members of the task force.
The task force is also keen to involve other members of staff and faculty, as it recognizes that this task is large.
