Responsibilities: Planning, directing and implementing the commission's work programme and for promotion of a conducive environment for further development and strengthening of the integrated approach of sustainable development and green growth in support of achieving the Millennium Development Goals on sustainable development, environmental sustainability, poverty reduction and gender quality.
Team Assistant (to assist in the planning, organization and servicing of the Third Green Growth Policy Dialogue; assist the research work on the formation of eco-efficiency indicators; expand existing inventory of data on eco-efficiency of consumption and production particularly that of countries in the region; further develop and maintain a contact database for the indicators project, produce of graphs and animated graphics in PowerPoint slides for key Green Growth issues and themes)
The duration of contract: 15 September 2006 15 December 2006 (with possible extension of up to 15 April 2007)
Terms of payment: $US1000 end of month every month.
