Oregon State University, AIT sign agreement
AIT and Oregon State University (OSU) entered into a mutual cooperation in teaching and research in the following areas: exchange of faculty; joint research, technical assistance and development activities; participation in seminars and academic meetings; exchange of academic materials and other information; special short-term academic programs; and student exchange for research and study.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Edward Ray (above, second from left), president of OSU, and AIT President Said Irandoust on 6 September 2006.
The five-year cooperation started with joint research projects between School of Environment, Resources and Development and OSU, with the exchange of faculty and students expected in the future.
