Call for AIT consultants and volunteers for AIT consultancy Task force

An international consultancy company invited AIT to partner the company to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) related to the Project Preparation for the Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety Project in Vietnam which is funded by the World Bank.

AIT plans to submit a joint EOI, and several specialist positions are being looked for: Livestock Institutions Specialist (18 weeks), Animal Health Specialist (15 weeks), Livestock Marketing and Processing Specialist (12 weeks), Quality/food Safety Specialist (12 weeks), Economist/ project Costing Specialist (10 weeks), Livestock Breeding and Extension Specialist (10 weeks), Environment Specialist (8 weeks), Sociologist (8 weeks), Pre-feasibility and Feasibility Study Preparation (8 weeks), Interpreters/Logistics Coordinator (40 weeks).

Interested persons please send Prof. Sudip Rakshit, Vice President for Research, the following documents as soon as possible:

  • Any CVs and bios of individuals that could fill any of the above positions.
  • Brief company capability statement
  • 5-10 brief summaries of relevant projects.
  • AIT's participation will start only if the EoI is short listed and finally selected.

According to Prof. Rakshit, this is again an example of a project which AIT could be directly applying for when the institute has developed the AIT Consultancy Services - which is being planned soon.

Prof. Rakshit invites AIT colleagues with experience in consultancy projects and other interested colleagues to volunteer to join a task force which will help set up some guidelines for the AIT Consultancy Services.
