There are five PhD-positions available within a BMBF (German Ministry of Education and Science)-funded Interdisciplinary network-project on the role of German peatlands for climate change and possible mitigation options via climate friendly management practices.
3 Ph.D.-positions: greenhouse-gas (GHG) exchange of peatlands (available from November or December 2006 for a period of up to a maximum of three years. Mattel Bangkok Limited (MBK) needs qualified person to the position of Manager, IT
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT staffs and budget of manufacturing facility
- Plan in-house development projects, monitor deliverables and key project milestones, plan in-house development, manage application implementation process
- Manage IT infrastructure and servers systems
- Ensures goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters and are in line with stated business objectives (scope).
- Work with all levels of management and users within operations organization to establish IT strategy and execute IT projects that support the business needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent, majoring in computer science, engineering, business or manufacturing process Strong project management, business analysis, system analysis and programming skills
- Excellent programming knowledge of RPG, VB and AS/400 OS
- Must have 7+ years IT experience Must have 4+ years as programmer
- Must have 4+ years PC h/w and office s/w experience
- Very good written and oral English communication skills
- Assertive & self starter
- Experience with multi-national company is a plus
- Experience supporting a manufacturing facility is a plus
