Sustainable Energy Technologies certificate program offered

AIT is inviting applications for a postgraduate certificate program on Sustainable Energy Technologies, offered by the School of Environment, Resources and Development.

This fifteen-week intensive course is designed for middle- to senior-level professionals, policy-makers and researchers from government, industry and non-governmental organizations and staff from educational and research institutes.

The course will enhance the participants' technical and management skills to implement renewable energy technology-based activities in their respective workplaces. Participants take three to four courses, such as: Solar Energy, Biomass Conversion, Wind Energy, Distributed Generation, Development and Evaluation of Energy Projects and Efficient Lighting and Day-lighting.

Students will receive a certificate of attendance upon the completion of the program. Credits obtained from the program may be transferred to the master's degree program.

Eligible participants must hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in an appropriate area of specialization. In addition, they must submit an official test score from any of the standardized English exams: TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, CU-TEP (Thailand), ARC (Lao PDR). Alternatively, they can submit a Certificate of English Language Proficiency from the previous institute where the sole medium for instruction was English.
