Internet courses offered to prospective water professionals
The Regional United Nations Water Virtual Learning Centre at AIT invites prospective water professionals to apply for its Internet-based curriculum in integrated water resources management, which begins in August.
Doctoral thesis presented
Mr. Hossam Medhat Abuel-Naga (SOC029090), a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Engineering, in Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Engineering field of study, School of Engineering and Technology, will have his comprehensive final examination on Friday, 24 February at 1:00 p.m., in room N 245A, GTE Meeting Room, School of Civil Engineering Building.

Newly appointed German ambassador visits AIT
H.E. Dr. Christoph Brummer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, met with officials from AIT on 8 February 2006.
The visit was an occasion to strengthen the collaboration between AIT and German government.

AIT, Korea Polytechnic University sign accord
Representatives from Korea Polytechnic University (KPU) and AIT signed an agreement 26 January 2006 on academic collaboration and exchange. The Koreans' concept on 'Engineering House' and 'University-Industry Relations' was discussed at length during the meeting.

Tokyo Tech delegation visits AIT
A delegation from the Tokyo Institute of Technology visited AIT on 24 January 2006 as a follow-up to a December 2005 agreement.
Workshop aims to tighten network security
AIT's Internet Education and Research Laboratory organized a five-day advanced network security workshop 6-10 February 2006 at the intERLab training center with the help of the sponsorships from Cisco Systems and Internet Thailand Plc.
