AIT recruits Student Ambassadors
From 2007 to 2009, AIT will hold series of activities related to Fundraising, Image Building and Networking as part of the implementation of the 5 years Institute's Strategic Development Plan (SDP).
The first activity will be recruitment of 'Student Ambassadors' for AIT which will be exercised each semester. In this activity, the Institute will recruit 10-12 Student Ambassadors this semester. A special training and opportunity awaits the selected students. The responsibilities of a Student Ambassador will be to assist voluntarily in the special focus areas such as fundraising, image building and networking.
This is a great way to meet and network with successful leaders in the government, public, and private sectors and also can be seen as good exposure to interact with non-profit organizations, UN agencies and various professions such as law, finance, consulting, education, arts and many others. Student Ambassadors will also have the opportunities to exchange experiences with fellow Student Ambassadors from other universities that are in partnership with AIT.
The VP for Development and Resources calls for your expression of interest in this endeavor. If you are self-motivated and have a passion to meet new people from all walks of life, from grassroots to top decision makers, rich and famous people and CEOs, at the same time if you would like to learn, develop self-confidence and interpersonal skills and able to devote some time (approximately 2-4 hours per week) to act as AIT Student Ambassador, please email: tenzin@.ait.ac.th. Interested persons may also apply personally to Mr. Tenzin Rabgyal, Program Officer, ERCO at 2nd floor, Administration Building together with their resume and recent photograph. Candidates will be notified by email if short listed for an interview.
Last day for application is 7 Feb 2007.
Students who are in their last semester may also apply.
