Upon the recommendation of Professor Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Prof. Said Irandoust, AIT President, recently appointed the following associate deans in SET:
Dr. Joydeep Dutta, Associate Dean for New Development: Dr. Dutta will assist the Dean in
planning for new areas (the first one is Materials Engineering) and review of all MoUs.
Dr. Nitin Afzulpurkar, Associate Dean for Promotion: Dr. Afzulpurkar will assist the Dean
in planning marketing strategies for recruiting students in focus countries including
handling of all related promotional documents.
Professor Tawatchai Tingsanchali, Associate Dean for Academic Audit: Professor Tawatchai
will assist the Dean in planning and implementing the Peer Teaching Review and Academic
Accreditation, as well as other academic quality issues.
Dr. Noppadol Phien-wej, Associate Dean for Infrastructure and Student Support: Dr.
Noppadol will assist the Dean in improving the infrastructure of the school, including
laboratory space and sharing of equipment, and also look after student related matters.
