Research Associate Needed
For its research activities in the framework of the Global Network on Energy for Sustainable Development (GNESD), the Energy Field of Study of AIT is seeking a Research Associate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out research on energy security, energy access and renewable energy technologies policies with a high emphasis on poverty alleviation in South and Southeast Asian countries
- Regular reporting to GNESD
- Writing for publications in international journals
- Contribute to the administrative management of research projects (monitoring budgets, etc.)
Profile:
- Master degree with specialization in energy policy, energy economics, energy technologies or other related disciplines
- Relevant research experience
- Experience in writing technical reports and publications for specialised journals in English
- Good network of contacts in the energy field in South and Southeast Asia (considered as an advantage)
Duration: 6 months (extension depending on funding)
