The 7th UNEP-AIT Joint Steering Committee Meeting held

The 7th Meeting of the UNEP-AIT Joint Steering Committee (JSC) took place on 30 March 2007, discussing ongoing collaboration through the provision of UNEP scholarships, cooperation in Central Asia and Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Knowledge Hub (3RKH), Energy Audit, and UNEP Urban forum.

The JSC consists of representatives from AIT (Professor S. Kumar and Professor C. Visvanathan) and the UNEP Regional Resource Center for the Asia and Pacific (RRC.AP), a UNEP outposted office located in the AIT's Outreach Building. Mr. Surendra Shrestha, Director of the RRC.AP Office and also UNEP Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific and staff members, and Ms. Patcharee Wamgsakan, Head of Finance, also attended the meeting which looked into ways in which some of the financial and administrative processes could be simplified.
