AIT participated in the recent EDUFEST'07 held in Guwahati, northeastern part of India and the capital of Assam State. Representing at the event were Dr. Joydeep Dutta, Associate Dean, School of Engineering and Technology together with Dr. Pritam Shrestha, Head, External Relations and Communications Office (ERCO) and Ms. Naina Shakya, Program Officer, ERCO. It provided an excellent opportunity to further highlight the Institute in the region, which already has several alumni and current students. The AIT exhibition booth attracted a large number of visitors and as a direct result of AIT's participation applications have already started coming in. The event was highlighted in the media and Dr. Dutta was also interviewed by one of the newspapers. Links to the interview follow:
