AIT professor coordinates global 'open source' internet event with Mozilla
Professor Kanchana Kanchanasut (left), who through AIT's intERLab, is coordinating a worldwide event with Mozilla (Open Source Organization) called Mozilla 24, an event which will shine the global spotlight on AIT. In the near future Mozilla will issue a press release from Mountain View, California, in which AIT will be mentioned as a partner of the event. Mozilla 24 expects to draw individuals who are interested in shaping the future of the Web socially, technically and culturally, including Web developers, researchers, engineers, and end users from around the world. Stanford University, Keio University and Nara Institute of Technology are among the partners involved in this initiative.
