Full implementation of the Policy and Procedure on Credit Policy

Since January 2007, the revised Credit Policy (http://203.159.12.3/interimcodes/PandP/Standards/docs/pandp/FB/FB-6-1-1.pdf) (FB-6-1-1) has been in effect.

However, the full implementation of the policy requires the decoupling of 'registration' from 'enrolment'. As such, the following new procedures for registration and enrolment will take effect immediately. From now on, 'Registration' will indicate the student's intention to continue his/her studies in the following semester. While 'enrolment' will refer to the actual registration to a particular course, special study or thesis / dissertation / research study / project. From this semester onwards, all students should do 'Registration' through the SIS under the 'Register/Enroll menu', and indicate 'Yes or No' if they are continuing in the following semester. All students are advised to clear their outstanding dues before registering. Failure to 'Register' would mean they will not be able to enroll for credits.

Registration will start from 23 July to 10 August 2007 while enrolment for courses / dissertation / thesis / research study/ project will commence at the same time, 23 July, until 24 August 2007.
