Possible funding: Australian Development Research Awards
Australian Development Research Awards is now accepting its inaugural Funding Round Expressions of Interest. Australian Development Research Awards are intended to attract high quality research that informs policy development and increases the general stock of knowledge around development issues.
With A$3.7 million of awards on offer, focus areas include health systems strengthening, HIV/AIDS, gender equality, economic growth, humanitarian and emergency responses, and climate change.
Applicants can apply for funding for projects of up to four years in duration,
with successful proposals eligible to receive between A$50,000 and
A$250,000 per year.
The Funding Round is open to all Australian and international not-for-profit institutions or organizations where research is a core component of the organization's mandate.
Selection will be on a two-step basis. Applicants are invited to submit
Expressions of Interest Applications by 5:00 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time), Monday 13 August 2007.
Those applicants successful in the Expression of Interest stage will be
invited to submit full proposals.
