Taiwan Minister of Education expresses interest in collaboration with AIT



Taiwan’s Minister of Education, H.E. Mr. Tu Cheng-Sheng, recently led a high-level delegation to AIT, and expressed keen interest in possible collaboration with regard to the Taiwanese Ministry of Education's global collaboration plans for setting-up sister Centers in partnership between AIT and Taiwanese universities, officials said.

The Minister was accompanied on his 10 August visit by Prof. Tien-Rein Lee, President, Chinese Culture University; Ms. Jessica Chin-Chueh Su, Department of Physical Education; Mr. Chung-Hsin Chang, Senior Specialist, Department of Technological and Vocational Education and Mr. James Chang, Executive Assistant to the Representative, and Head of Cultural Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Bangkok.

AIT President Said Irandoust introduced progress and developments on the new AIT Charter to the Minister and the delegation. The President also had an opportunity to brief the Minister and delegation about AIT's new initiatives.
