AIT’s Multimedia Production Unit Manager, Information Technology Services Unit (ITSU), Dr. Aekavute Sujarae, reports that the new PLONE-based AIT website will be soft launched on 17 September. ITSU expects this soft launch will last for a period of one week.
The new site can be viewed by visiting https://oldweb.ait.ac.th. This soft launch means that the new PLONE-based website can be viewed only by those accessing the Institute’s URL within AIT’s on-campus network. At the same time, the current AIT website will remain available to AIT community viewers as a hyperlink on the PLONE site.
During this soft launch period, all visitors to URL https://oldweb.ait.ac.th from outside of the AIT network (off-campus, and beyond) will only be able to view the currently existing AIT website.
To assist ITSU with its final website preparations, all AIT responsible units are highly requested to update their associated website content into the PLONE system, as soon as possible.
