An AIT alumnus, Mr. Sood Dhirendra (SOM '92), Managing Director, Lenze Srirama Associates, introduced and accompanied Dr. Ir. Meike C. te Giffel, Business Development Manager for Asia Pacific, NIZO Food Research (www.nizo.com), to AIT officials to explore areas in which there could be partnerships.

Their customers include multinational dairy, food and beverage, food ingredient, and life science companies. The External Relations and Communications Office will be coordinating a more focused visit for Dr. Giffel to AIT, during which specific collaboration could be discussed. Dr. Giffel, who also covers Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia, also sees internship and employment opportunities for AIT students, aside from the other institutional collaborations.
