Professor Peter Haddawy, Vice President for Academic Affairs is working on organizing a workshop on teaching and learning which will be held at AIT on 5 and 6 April 2008, under the umbrella of ASAIHL. The workshop will be led by Dr. Lynne Hunt, who is a Board Member of the Carrick Institute for Teaching and Learning in Australia, and who is a recipient of the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Teaching. This was an outcome of Professor Haddawy's participation at the ASAIHL meeting in Perth last week, which was fully supported by Elsevier. Additionally, a broader partnership between AIT and ASAIHL is being explored.
