Professor Peter Haddawy, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, organized a 2-day workshop on 6 and 7 April on Change Leadership for Teaching and Learning. The workshop was run by Professor Lynne Hunt, Pro Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning at the University of Southern Queensland. The issues covered at the highly interactive workshop included change management strategies, the student learning journey, graduate attributes, evidence-based approaches, and teaching and learning centers. The workshop attracted 55 participants from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Burma. Ten AIT faculty members from the three schools and three AIT doctoral students also participated. The workshop was run at no cost to AIT. More such workshops on teaching and learning topics are planned under the new Center for Learning Innovation and Quality (CLIQ) which will be opening later this year.
