Interfaith candle-light vigil ceremony held for victims of Cyclone Nargis and China Earthquake

The AIT community joined together on Wednesday, 21 May, 8:00 p.m. 
at Korea House for an interfaith candle-light vigil to pay its utmost
respects to the many thousands of people who lost their lives in the
recent disasters in Myanmar and China. The gathering was organized by
the AIT Student Union, the Myanmar Student Association and the Chinese
Student Association. All members of the AIT community were invited to
join the Christian, Buddhist and Muslim expressions of prayer. AIT
President Said Irandoust attended and lead the multifaith gathering in
a prayer of condolence on behalf of the Institute.
