SERD’s new partnership with Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Forestry

AIT’s
School of Environment, Resources and Development
(SERD) and the Faculty of Forestry of Thailand’s
Kasetsart University (KU) on
18 June 2008 signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of a three-year multifaceted
academic cooperation agreement.

The scope of academic
exchange and collaboration covered under the MoU includes exchange of
academic staff; exchange of graduate and/or undergraduate students;
joint research activities and publications; participation in seminars
and academic meetings; exchange of academic materials and other
information; and a double degree academic program.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Sivanappan Kumar, Dean of SERD and
Dr. Damrong Sriparam, Dean of Faculty of Forestry, KU, at the Pulp and
Paper Field of Study building on the campus of AIT.
