As part of the promotional activities for the AIT’s 50th Anniversary
Celebration this year, AIT President Said Irandoust, was interviewed
for an English-language TV talk show called “Thai-OZ Talk with Jaye
Walton” in Bangkok on 30 July 2009.
The program will be broadcasted nationally to viewers in Thailand on
NBT TV Channel 11 on Saturday, 5 September 2009 at 8.00-8.30 am. The
program will also be broadcasted on a date and channel to be named
later on True Vision at 9.35-10.00 am and re-run at 5:45-6:15 pm on the
same day. The program will be also shown in the United States on Thai
TV Global network under TV Channel 5 and in another 176 countries
around the world. Broadcast times will be based on local time of each
country, and will be announced.
During the interview, President Irandoust spoke of AIT’s mission and
core work, how relevant AIT’s educational courses are to the modern
world, how he envisions AIT in the coming fifty years, and AIT’s new
Charter.
