“Companies should invest more in training”

Companies should invest a larger portion of their budget for training and development specially in times of financial crisis. Unfortunately during a financial downturn, the first thing that is axed is the budget for training and development. This was stated by Mr. Edgar Samuel Sharuk, Chief of Administration, UNESCO (Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau) while delivering a presentation on “recruitment and work for UNESCO and the UN and career planning” at the AIT Career Fair organized by the AIT Career Center.
