The Outstanding Academic Title list includes 652 books and electric
resources chosen by Choice editorial staff from among the 7,065 titles
reviewed during the previous year. The outstanding works were selected
for their excellence in scholarship and presentation, the significance
of their contribution to the field, and their value as important –
often the first – treatment of the subject. The list appears in the
January 2010 issue of
Choice Magazine

“Comprising just 9 percent of the titles reviewed in 2009, and less
than 3 percent of the more than 25,000 titles submitted to Choice
during the year, Fundamentals of Nanotechnology is truly the best of
the best,” said Irving Rockwood, Editor and Publisher of Choice, in a
letter to the AIT nanotechnology professors.
