Erasmus Mundus offers tremendous mobility options for AIT

This was stated by Ms. Marcella Orrù, Head of Office, Education and
Student Services Management, University of Trento during a presentation
on the program “Bridging the gap”. She added that the project is aimed
at partner institutions in Europe and countries in Eastern and South
East Asia. The project seeks to facilitate and support mobility of
students and academic staff and remove obstacles to successful and
efficient exchanges and studies from an academic, social and personal
development perspective.

“Bridging the gap” offers 298 grants for mobility from Asia to Europe
and vice versa. The University of Trento is
the coordinating partner and it includes 17 partner universities - six
from the European Union and 11 from Asia apart from five associate
partners. “We have worked with AIT before and we have partnered with
AIT for the project’, she added. Applicants can be undergraduate ,
master, PhD with a minimum of 1 year previous university studies),
postdoctorate apart from academic and administrative staff of the
partner universities.

Earlier Prof. Vilas Wuwongse of School of Engineering and Technology
(SET) of AIT welcomed Ms. Orrù and asked her to elaborate on the
