The AIT President welcomed the team from NIMT and hoped that the MOU
will result in greater academic cooperation between the two institutes.
The MOU covers collaborative research in metrology, calibration and
product development using Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Computer
Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Numeral Controlled (CNC) Machines. The
Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE) Field of Study in AIT’s School of
Engineering and Technology (SET) shall be the focal point for the MOU
from AIT’s side.
The two institutes will focus on joint training programs and research
opportunities for master’s and doctoral students. Both organizations
shall also jointly apply to the Royal Thai Government for funding
research projects.
