The delegation led by Prof. P. Mannar Jawahar, Vice Chancellor stated
that they have resources available from the state government of Tamil
Nadu (India) to explore possibilities in this field and that they were
interested in an association with the Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources
Management (AARM) field of study at AIT. The delegation also exhibited
keen interest in AIT’s School of Management (SOM), especially in its
Executive MBA Program.
Apart from Prof. Jawahar, the delegation from Anna University comprised of Dr. V.
Rhymend Uthariaraj, Director, Ramanujan Computer Center (RCC); Dr. S.
Selvam, Director, Centre for University – Industry Collaboration (CUIC)
and Mr. T. Kalaiselvan, Deputy Director, CUIC. They met Dr. Pritam K.
Shrestha, Head, External Relations and Communications Office (ERCO) and
Mr. Tenzin Rabgyal, Senior Program Officer, ERCO. They also discussed
industry academia interaction and career guidance to students seeking
employment in Multi-National Corporations.
