The president informed the over 18,000-strong alumni body of the

Presidents of the Mother and National Chapters, as well as to AIT
faculty, staff and students.

expected to return to campus on AIT Day 2010 to commemorate the end of
AIT’s first fifty years of existence and to launch its next half

The Hall of Fame is intended to recognize and honor the
accomplishments and contributions of AIT senior alumni and others,
including distinguished faculty, staff, and close friends who have made
significant contributions to their alma mater and brought pride and
inspiration to their professions and society at national, regional, and
international levels.

inaugural batch of Hall of Fame inductees will be made by an esteemed
Panel of Judges to be chaired by former AIT President Professor
Alastair M. North. The other members of the selection panel include:
Professor Za-Chieh Moh, former AIT Provost (Vice Chair); Professor
Shunji Murai, former faculty member; Professor A. S. Balasubaramaniam,
Emeritus Professor and former faculty member; Professor Prida
Wibulswasdi, former faculty member and member of AIT Executive
Committee.

of Fame nominations from the AIT Alumni Association Mother and National
Chapters, or any individual alumnus, along with the endorsement of
three (3) other fellow alumni.

main campus to house the photos and the citations of all the AIT Hall
of Fame inductees.
