Among the projects at display included “Production of Instant Rice
Using Combined Microwave-Fluidized Bed Drying” by Ms.Jiraporn
Sripinyowanich, and Mr.Ekkapong Cheevitsopon. Supervised by
Prof.Athapol Noonhom (SERD), this project is funded by the Royal Thai
Government and is a collaborative project with Ampol Food Processing
Ltd. Another project “Haptic Augmented Reality for Dental Training”,
from Computer Science and Information Management (CSIM) Field of Study
at AIT was also on display. Led by doctoral student Mr. Phattanapon
Rhienmora, this is a joint project of AIT and the Faculty of Dentistry,
Thammasat University.
“Rehabilitation Robot for child” from Industrial Systems Engineering
(ISE) was showcased by Mr.Suthipong Kiatparnichgij, a doctoral student
of SET. The project is supervised by Dr. Manukid Parnichkun,
Coordinator, Industrial Systems Engineering Group at SET. The fourth
project presented at the fair, “3G-Hot Glinder Gasifier” is being
undertaken by a doctoral student, Mr. Atthavute Ruengjai of the Energy
Field of Study, and is being supervised by Prof. Sivanappan
Kumar.
The AIT team at the Science and
Technology Fair organized at the Bi-Tech Bang –Na Conference
Center.
