Led by Mr. Nguyen Lanh, Head of Department of Climate Change, Marine
and Island under the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural
Resource and Environment (ISPONRE), the team expressed its intent to
engage with AIT with an aim to enhance its human resource skills in the
field of marine management. The delegation is exploring strategies on
marine and coastal management and development; marine resources
investigation and environmental monitoring; and development of human
resources for marine management.
Dr. Wenresti Gallardo, Coordinator, Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources
Management (AARM) presented AIT’s range of academic and research
offerings and extended AIT’s assistance in training personnel in the
area of marine development. Dr. Thammarat Koottatep of Environmental
Engineering and Management (EEM) elaborated on AIT’s role in the field
of environmental engineering.
