Crimson College, which is an
affiliated college of Pokhara University, sought AIT’s help in faculty
development and training program, apart from easier access to AIT’s
Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) program for its students.
Welcoming the delegation, Prof. Joydeep Dutta, Vice President for
Academic Affairs, outlined the new initiatives of AIT. Dr. Pritam
Krishna Shrestha, Head, External Relations and Communications Office
(ERCO), informed the delegates about the admission requirements at
AIT’s MBA program. He also suggested that AIT Extension could create a
customized program for faculty training. The delegation from Nepal also
included Mr. Laxman Gnawali, Chairman of Crimson College and Mr. Dibas
Neupane, President, National Statistical
Institute. Others who participated in the discussion included Mr.
Karma Rana, Institute Secretary and Ms. Sumana Shrestha, Program
Officer, ERCO.
