Prof. Irandoust said the AIT community is very proud that one of the
signatories of the new AIT Charter is UNIFEM, which is now called UN
Women. He requested everyone in the AIT community to participate in the
activities being organized at AIT to commemorate International Women’s
Day – beginning with the signature campaign at
Korea House (8 March); artwork
competition as well as the
theatre performance on 17 March.
Prof. Irandoust also complimented the Culture and Gender Committee of
AIT Student Union as well as the Gender and Development Field of Study
at School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) for
organizing these events.
