“Skydoor is aiming to hire 5-7 interns from AIT who shall work on the
SkySplash product,” Mr. Brown remarked. He added that in April, Skydoor will establish its office in
the SET building at AIT. “We feel that AIT students are an ideal fit
for these positions,” Mr. Brown said. He added that Dr. Matthew N.
Dailey, Coordinator, Computer Science and Information Management (CSIM)
program, AIT, shall be the faculty advisor. The lease agreement signed
on 22 March 2011, follows a MoU signed with AIT in September 2011.
Dr. Nitin remarked that he is happy that Skydoor has selected AIT as a
partner, and hoped that it would prove to be a good platform for AIT
students. Among those who participated in the lease signing ceremony
included Dr. Roberto Mariani, CEO, Skydoor Pte; Mr. Richard Roussel,
Chief Technology Officer, Skydoor; Dr. Matthew N Dailey, AIT; Dr. Nitin
Kumar Tripathi, Coordinator, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information
Systems (RS and GIS) program, SET; and Ms. Srija Pokharel, an AIT
intern at Skydoor.
SkySplash is Skydoor's first commercial technology product that allows
users to produce and edit three dimension videos with personalized
content. Based on a cloud platform, it is an online video production
engine. Prior to signing the agreement, Skydoor also participated in
the Career Fair organized at AIT.
