AIT contributed immensely towards Thai education branding: Prof Said Irandoust

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has made an enormous contribution in creating a Thailand education brand, and ensuring that Thailand emerges as a educational destination for students all over the world. This was stated by Prof. Said Irandoust, President, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) while speaking on the occasion of the fifty-second anniversary of AIT.

AIT’s 52nd anniversary celebrations

A special event titled "Nanotechnology Portfolio Release" is being organized as a part of AIT's 52nd anniversary celebrations. The event is being organized at Renaissance Hotel , Bangkok, on 5 September 2011 from 13.00 hours to 20.00 hours. Prof. Prabuddha Ganguli, CEO, Vision-IPR, and Honorary Scientific Consultant for Innovation and IPR matters to the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India shall deliver the keynote address.

AIT welcomes new undergraduate students

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) welcomed the latest batch of undergraduate students at the Orientation Day function organized at the AIT Conference Center. Students from Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam formed the cohort in the 2011 batch of undergraduate students They were joined by 49 other students from Sri Lanka, who have already completed two years of undergraduate study in their home country.
