AIT’s post-flood situation, the resumption of academic programs on December 6 and the “temporary and partial relocation†to campuses in Hua Hin and Cha-Am, Thailand, and AIT’s immediate plans for the recovery and restoration of the inundated Pathumthani campus were hot topics aired at an open forum for the AIT Community held last week (25 November 2011) in downtown Bangkok.

AIT academic programs and classes to resume from December 6

After the successful relaunch of administrative operations, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is geared towards return to academic operations from 6 December 2011. Academic activities are now moving towards a return to normalcy, following the enormous flood disaster that inundated the AIT campus almost one month ago.

At a meeting organized at AIT’s temporary office at Chulalongkorn University, the University President Prof. Said Irandoust presented the draft framework for the rebuilding plan of AIT.
