Management Team:
I need to make this urgent announcement on behalf of AIT
Management Team to serve notice for faculty and staff who have to take
action either tomorrow and/or Sunday.
Management Team to serve notice for faculty and staff who have to take
action either tomorrow and/or Sunday.
Members of the AIT Community whose offices and residents are on
the ground floors of all buildings are requested to sacrifice a day or
two during this long week end to segregate savable properties and
personal belongings from the rest. This will later allow AIT staff and
Sodexo workers to remove all designated garbage for disposal. Then all
doors and windows will be left open for ventilation and disinfection
process can be applied for a week. After that residents of all upper
floors can be allowed to access their premises freely.

Based on the decision of the AIT Management Team this evening (Friday,
December 2) with reference to my proposal, the following actions have
been approved:
NON-RESIDENTIAL OFFICES
Saturday and Sunday (December 3-4)
1. All
NON-RESIDENTIAL OFFICES can send their staff to the
ground floor of their premise. They should segregate items that they
want to keep or repair. A common store room will be provided by Sodexo
to stock them if the units do not have a second floor to keep. Whatever
remains in the ground floor of the buildings will be considered as
garbage (unless specified). Sodexo will organize some laborers to
remove them to designated dump sites later. Then, all doors and windows
can be open-aired for a week. Spray to stop algae and bacteria may be
applied. Mr. Stephen Andrew of Sodexho will be there to supervise all
the logistics.

Again, my apology for imposing on the AIT Community during the long
weekend. These actions are all necessary to prevent the spread of
damage due to the dampening atmosphere. Any delay by one day can make a
difference.
My apology for this very late announcement.
More communication to follow soon, for
ground floor residents of all residential buildings.
