After the successful relaunch of administrative operations, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is geared towards return to academic operations from 6 December 2011. Academic activities are now moving towards a return to normalcy, following the enormous flood disaster that inundated the AIT campus almost one month ago.

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has constituted four task forces for creating its Recovery, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Plan. At a meeting organized at AIT’s temporary office at Chulalongkorn University, the University President Prof. Said Irandoust presented the draft framework for the rebuilding plan of AIT.

University of Borås students begin fund raising drive for AIT

Students from University of Borås, Sweden, have launched a fund raising drive for helping rebuild the flood ravaged Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Recognizing that AIT is a partner Institute of the University of Borås, a group of students have launched a drive asking everyone to visit the AIT website (http://www.ait.asia/support.php) and contribute to AIT.
