Nobel laureate Dr. Rajendra K Pachauri will deliver a video-conference lecture titled “The state of climate science” on 7 October 2011 from 1100 hours to 1230 hours. The lecture will be telecast at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).Dr. Pachauri, who is Chancellor of TERI University and Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), will be delivering the lecture as a part of the Institute wide course “Climate, Energy and Food Security in the Asia Pacific.

Universiti Teknologi Mara signs MoU with AIT

Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and looks forward towards sending students to AIT from the January 2012 session. The MoU, which was signed on 27 September 2011 by the Vice Chancellor of UiTM, Dato’ Prof Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar, and the AIT President Prof. Said Irandoust, seeks to foster cooperation between the two.
