Just minutes after receiving their master’s of engineering degree
from AIT President Prof. Said Irandoust at the main graduation
ceremony, Thailand’s Ms. Nisuchcha Maporn and Nepal’s Mr. Dibesh Khadka
and Mr Kunjan Lal Pradhan, were also awarded a master’s degree from
Polytech'Nice-Sophia, France.

The three graduates from the Water Engineering and Management
(WEM) field of study, School of Engineering and Technology (SET) form
the inaugural batch of the program launched in 2010.

Earlier, the dual degree students received a scholarship from the
French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, French Regional
Cooperation at AIT to cover travel expenses to France. All spent
a period of six months studying at Polytech'Nice-Sophia.

Congratulating the new graduates on their strong academic
performance while in France, Prof. Gourbesville emphasized their strong
European connection. He reminded the three to always consider
themselves as graduates of Polytech'Nice, and encouraged them to be
proud members of its alumni.
