AIT International School is 80 percent
completed

It was announced on April 17 that the rehabilitation of the AIT
International School is on schedule with 80% of all work now completed.
Officials are confident of meeting the April 23rd deadline for full
completion of the project. The renovation of AITIS is being conducted
by 202th Engineering Construction Battalion, Royal Thai Army.
 

Deadline for Ensuring Safety of outside equipment (kept for insurance
purposes) is (Midnight) Sunday, April 22
 
 
The AIT Main Campus Rebuilding and Upgrading Committee announced that
midnight Sunday, April 22 is the final deadline for units, offices,
schools, and all people on campus to safely store any equipment and
valuable belongings located outside in open, common areas on campus –
to safe areas inside. By the evening of Sunday, April 22, all persons
are requested to remove for safe-keeping indoors all valuable equipment
to be retained for insurance purposes.

Starting Monday, April 23, Sodexo will be collecting all equipment and
debris situated outside in open, common areas for removal and
disposal.

Insurance Company ordered to clear dump near
SOM

The pre-Songkran holiday deadline AIT set for the insurance company to
remove garbage and debris from the dump site near the School of
Management has passed. The Committee instructed that clear
communication be made to the firm to push for the removal of debris
immediately, making specific reference to the contract that stipulates
the scope of the work and the deadlines. It was subsequently noted that
the insurance company called the junk firm for bidding on the removal
of the garbage. So far, they have removed approximately 50% of the
debris and hope to finish within one week.
 
 
Residents of Dorms A-K, 1.5 Floor Accommodation may stay until
refurbishment work starts

Students residing in Dorms A-K, 1.5 Floor accommodations may stay in
their rooms until refurbishment work begins in the first week of May,
only. At that time when work begins, they must leave their rooms. No
rent will be required during this period. Students must pay for all
utilities.

AIT Culture Night Show on Saturday, April 21st at AITCC
Auditorium

The Student Union was granted permission to use the AITCC auditorium
as the venue for the Culture Night Show on Saturday, April 21st,
starting at 5.30pm.

Notice to tenants residing in two-storey houses

Tenants currently residing in two-storey houses should immediately
notify the Sodexo accommodation office that they are living on campus,
and present all appropriate documentation.

All tenants of 2-storey housing units are reminded that they there are
required to pay 40% of the monthly rent, which was an earlier decision
of the AIT Main Campus Rebuilding and Upgrading Committee.
