Thailand’s Washington embassy features AIT alumna Sureerut Kochaon

Ms. Sureerut Kochaon, a senior project manager and an environmental
management specialist working at Parsons Corporation in California has
been interviewed by the Office of Science and Technology, Royal Thai
Embassy, Washington D.C.

Ms. Kochaon, who is an alumna of the Asian Institute of Technology
(AIT) having obtained her Master’s degree of science in Environmental
Engineering (1984), supports the idea of establishing a Foundation for
Thai and US Science and Technology Cooperation (TUSCO). The goal is to
create a prominent Thai research institute that is widely recognized
for its innovations and excellent research and development, she says.

Ms. Kochaon feels that the initiative “has a vision for the institute
to be a gateway for Thai scientists and researchers to interact and
work jointly with their prominent Thai or U.S. counterparts.”
