The delegation met AIT’s President Vice President for Academic
Affairs, Prof. I.M.Pandey, who briefed the delegates about AIT and its
recent developments, including its status as an intergovernmental
organization. Prof. Pandey also elaborated on AIT’s programs including
student exchange, joint degree, dual degree and unified
Bachelor-Master’s program.
Prof. Yong was accompanied by Prof. Li Huanrong, Director, MBA Center;
Prof. Hong Yong, Dean, School of Mathematics and Computational Science;
Prof. Lai Qing, Vice-Dean, School of Information; Mr. He Xiongwei,
Vice-Director, Personnel Department; and Ms. Yang Chun, Head, Foreign
Affairs Office. The visit follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
signed with Guangdong Education Services of International Exchanges
Tianhe on 24 August 2012, which recommended AIT to GUBS.
