HM King’s, HM Queen’s and Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships announced at AIT

 
The new master’s scholarships to be offered in August 2013 intake will
provide students from all countries in Asia-Pacific an opportunity to
study and conduct research in AIT.

Prof. Worsak was accompanied by Prof. Kanchana Kanchanasut, Acting Vice
President for Research; Dr. Manukid Parnichkun, Representative of AIT
faculty; and Ms. Wannapa Pliansri, RTG Coordinator, External
Relations and Communications Office (ERCO).

His Majesty The King’s Scholarships offer full scholarship for Master’s
degree studies to qualified candidates with excellent academic records
from Thailand and other Asian countries. Recipients of HM The King’s
scholarships can study in any academic program at AIT. Recipients of
Her Majesty The Queen ’s Scholarships are meant for students pursuing a
Master’s program in all environment related fields.

Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships, the name of which has been chosen by
HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, provides scholarships to students
from Thailand and five countries of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS)
including Cambodia, Yunnan China, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. These
scholarships are aimed at human resource development in four thematic
areas deemed important for GMS which are Infrastructure Development,
Energy Technology, Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Development, and
Environmental Engineering and Management.
