The AIT Cricket team, which won the Bangkok Cricket League (BCL) “A†Division League, was felicitated by the AIT Interim President, Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai. Meeting with select team members on 19 December 2013, Prof. Worsak presented them a cash award of 25,000 THB and complimented them on their achievement.

The seminar will cover four topics: - Publishing in International Journals & Getting Hired as an Asst. Professor in an International Business School (Prof. Henrikki Tikkanen)- Contemporary Consumer Research: an Outlook (Dr. Joel Hietanen)- Researching Organizational Mechanisms: A Study in a Product Development Context (Antti Sihvonen, M.Sc)- Researching Corporate Strategies: A Study of Large Finnish Corporations (Iiro Vaniala, M.Sc)Doctoral students (Ph.D. and DBA) from AIT’s School of Management are expected to participate in the seminar.
AIT signs agreement with Korea Research Council of Fundamental Science and Technology

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea Research Council of Fundamental Science and Technology (KRCF) to foster research and collabaration. The MoU was signed by Prof. Keon Kim, Chairman of KRCF and Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Interim President, AIT on 12 December 2013.
Talk on “Post 2015 development agenda in the Asia Pacific – Where AIT can deliver”
Mr. Surendra Shrestha, Director, International Environmental Technology Center, UNEP, Osaka, Japan will deliver a talk on "Post 2015 development agenda in the Asia Pacific - Where AIT can deliver" on 17 December 2013 from 1500-1600 hours at the AIT Board Room.
120th Graduation
The Graduation message will be delivered by H.E. Dr. Sohail Khan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Thailand. The AIT Prominent Alumni message will be delivered by Mr. Surendra Shrestha, Director, International Environmental Technology Centre, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Japan.

Blood donation camp
The Thai Red Cross Society along with the AIT Medical Clinic, volunteer students and employees of AIT will organize the blood donation camp. The bloodmobile visits AIT every three months. The previous Blood Donation Camp was organized on 17 September 2013.
Timor-Leste keen on partnership with AIT

Timor-Leste is looking forward towards signing a formal agreement with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and it considers AIT a premier institute that can help the country in strengthening its human capital resources. This was stated by Mr. Fracisco Dionisio Fernandes, Counsellor and Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Timor-Leste, during his maiden visit to AIT on 12 December 2013
