AIT signs agreement with Korea Research Council of Fundamental Science and Technology

The agreement stipulates exchange of personnel for research and
training, joint collaboration for research and development, especially
in the field of environmental technology.

Prof. Keon Kim, while signing the agreement, expressed his admiration
for the research work being undertaken at AIT. He complimented the
technology-driven programs in AIT, and hoped that the partnership would
set the pace for greater collaboration. Prof. Keon Kim was accompanied
by Ms Seoyoung Kim of the Division of International and Public
Relations, KRCF.

Welcoming the delegation, Prof. Worsak remarked that AIT has had a
long association of research with Korea. He suggested that AIT could
provide a good platform for KRCF to foster greater collaboration in
Southeast Asia.
Prof. Kanchana Kanchanasut, Interim Vice President for Research; Prof.
Chettiyappan Visvanathan, Interim Dean, School of Environment,
Resources and Development (SERD); Dr. Thammarat Koottatep and Dr.
Atitaya Panuvatvanich of SERD; Dr. Gabrielle Groves and Mr. Tenzin
Rabgyal of External Relations and Communications Office (ERCO) also
participated in the MoU signing ceremony.
