The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Board of Trustees has announced the names of new members of the Executive Committee, new members of the Nomination Committee of the Board of Trustees, and membership of the Fact Finding Committee. This was announced in an official communiqué issued by the AIT Board of Trustees following it’s meeting held on 12 February 2013.

The project on "Action towards Resource-efficient and Low Carbon Cities (LCC) in Asia" will be organizing a "Low Carbon Cities: Experience Sharing Workshop" on 11-12 February 2013 at the Asia Airport Hotel in Rangsit. The project is supported by the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) and Sustainable Development and Climate Change/AIT-France Network.

Brandeis University is keen to formalize a relationship with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), particularly in the field of Sustainable International Development. Visiting AIT on 8 February 2013, Assistant Dean, Mr. Ravi Lakshmikantan stated that the partnership could include student and faculty exchange, besides research collaboration.
