Seminar: Theory and practice of performance-based design: The future of earthquake engineering
Engineers who use CSI software will be able to share their experience, obtain advice and solutions on their analysis and design project, and learn new techniques and technologies related to structural and earthquake engineering. Keynote speaker Ashraf Habibullah, President and CEO of CSI, will present the theory and application of nonlinear analysis and performance-based design in terms and analogies that are familiar to practicing structural engineers.

Workshop offers recommendations for improved groundwater management in select Asian cities

The second and final regional workshop on groundwater management offered a set of recommendations for select Asian cities. Organized at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 24-25 July 2014, the workshop titled “Enhancing the groundwater management capacity in Asian cities through the development and application of groundwater sustainability index in the context of global change†focussed on sharing the outputs and reports of application of groundwater sustainability index.
