Thai Obayashi has offered internship programs to students pursuing civil and infrastructure engineering at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

The internationality of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) coupled with the strong China-network of Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) can be mutually beneficial to both Institutes. Stating this during his visit to PIM on 25 June 2014, AIT’s Interim President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai said that since China and India are emphasising human resource development, this augurs well both for AIT and Thailand.

Kurita-GK Chemical Co. Ltd, the Thailand subsidiary of its Japanese parent Kurita Water Industries Ltd, will fund half the cost of a Masters scholarship for a student to attend the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) at its School of Environment, Resources and Development.

Prof. C. Visvanathan, Dean, School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), who is among the top 12 technical experts appointed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for its “Green Industry Platform,” highlighted the expertise of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in capacity building and knowledge sharing during the second technical expert meeting held in Vienna, Austria.

Prof. Sriram B. Mathe, Chairman of Nepal Education Foundation – Consortium of Colleges, Nepal (NEF – CCN), this week visited the Asian Institute of Technology for two-days of frank discussions on his group’s partnership with the institute which began in 2011.

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Bangkok University (BU) have committed to work together over the next three years on a wide range of academic, research and promotional initiatives of mutual benefit.

Thirty-two students from Myanmar, the third tranche of scholars supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA), began their two-year journey at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 27 June 2014 with their Orientation Program.
